My name is Tomihiko Shionoya and I'm Japanese of 46 years old.
I am a CG designer working in Japan.
I was born deaf in 1959 in Tokyo,Japan. I dedicated to major in the CG area since young, and have become one of the best CG designers in the company of Kashima.
Along with my job, I have produced a video-movie with my deaf-friends recently, conducting a non-linear editing myself, using Adobe's Premier and Effects.
It is titled "Kako ha Ima" meaning `Past is Present`. It is a color movie with 60 minutes.
All the cast, and camera work, were done by my deaf friends, script writer, also deaf.
It is a mystery that it can be enjoyed by people who can hear normally, too.
I came to like movies when I saw Stanley Kubrick's "2001: a space odyssey" which I have seen more than
118 times.
I made my first 8milimeter film with 42 minutes in 1976, as a junior high school student, and 2 hour-video titled "All Japan Steam Locomotive Scenes" in 1992, and "Centennial Commemorative CG Animation Features, 1991," with 8 minutes for my alma mater,
I've been using various 3D Studio products since late 1998 starting with 3D Studio release 2 , which has given me about
7 years of experience.
